Window Replacement — Transform Your Home, One Window at a Time

From single-room upgrades to full-home replacements, we deliver precision-installed, energy-efficient windows that improve comfort, reduce energy costs, and enhance your home’s value.

What Are Window Replacement?

Window replacement is the core of what we do at Revival Windows. Whether you’re replacing a single damaged window or upgrading every window in your home, our process is designed to deliver a seamless experience from consultation to completion. We handle both retrofit replacements (installing new windows into existing frames) and full-frame replacements (removing the entire window assembly down to the rough opening) depending on the condition of your existing windows and your goals for the project. Every replacement window is custom-measured, factory-built to your exact specifications, and installed by our trained in-house team — always handled by our trained team.

We work with homeowners to select the right window type, frame material, glass package, and style for each opening, ensuring that every window performs optimally and complements your home’s architecture.

Why It Matters

Why Window Replacement Matter for Your Home

Windows are one of the most visible and functional elements of your home. Old, inefficient, or damaged windows affect everything — your energy bills, your comfort, your home’s appearance, and even its security. According to the National Association of Realtors, window replacement consistently ranks among the top home improvement projects for return on investment, with homeowners typically recouping 60-70% of the project cost at resale.

Beyond financial returns, new windows deliver immediate quality-of-life improvements: lower energy bills, more consistent indoor temperatures, reduced outside noise, easier operation, and improved curb appeal. For homes with windows that are 15-20+ years old, replacement isn’t just an upgrade — it’s a necessary maintenance investment that protects the home’s structure and value.

Technical Specifications

Technical Details & Specifications

We offer two primary replacement methods. Retrofit (insert) replacement installs a new window unit inside the existing frame, which is ideal when the frame is in good condition and you want to minimize disruption and cost. Full-frame replacement removes the entire window assembly — including the frame, trim, and sometimes the sill — and installs a completely new unit into the rough opening.

This method is recommended when the existing frame is damaged, rotted, or improperly installed. Both methods include proper insulation of the gap between the window and the rough opening using low-expansion foam, backer rod, or fiberglass insulation as appropriate. Exterior and interior trim is finished to match the existing home aesthetic.

Your Free In-Home Estimate

What to Expect for Window Replacement

Window replacement pricing depends on the number of windows, window type, glass package, and installation method. Because every home and project is different, we provide detailed, itemized quotes during a free in-home consultation rather than publishing generic ranges. Full-home replacements benefit from volume pricing, and we offer flexible financing options for larger projects.

No hidden fees, no surprises — just transparent pricing based on your specific needs.

Every project is unique — that's why we quote on-site, not online. During your free in-home consultation, our window expert will assess your current windows, take precise measurements, and present tailored options with no pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Window Replacement

How long does window replacement take?

Most individual window replacements take 1-2 hours per window. A full-home replacement of 10-20 windows typically takes 1-2 days. We schedule around your availability and keep your home secure throughout the process.

Do I need to replace all my windows at once?

No. While full-home replacement maximizes energy savings and provides a consistent appearance, you can replace windows in phases based on priority and budget. We often recommend starting with the most damaged or least efficient windows.

What's the difference between retrofit and full-frame replacement?

Retrofit replacement installs a new window inside the existing frame — it's faster and less expensive. Full-frame replacement removes everything down to the rough opening — it's more thorough and recommended when the existing frame is damaged.

Will new windows really lower my energy bills?

Yes. ENERGY STAR-certified windows can reduce heating and cooling costs by 12-33% depending on what you're replacing and your climate. We provide a projected savings analysis during your free consultation.
